Thank you for your interest in my project! Eli's Software Encyclopedia is a lifelong project to create the most comprehensive and informative database of software in the world. For years and years this has been a project done as a labor of love, with the help of a few dedicated friends. In the late 1980's through the mid 1990's I ran a fairly large software wholesale business specializing in closeout software. In the mid 1990's companies like Time Warner, Sony, Compton's NewMedia, and Philips flooded the market with enormous quantities of CD-ROM software, seriously effecting supply and demand. This, combined with competition from Slash and a number of other companies forced me to redirect my focus to running a computer store in Scranton Pennsylvania. I neglected the wholesale business and the software has sat in a warehouse since then. I have also always been an avid fan of software, and always made an effort to diversify my inventory whenever possible. I currently have a database of about 17,000 different software titles. Eventually I hope to have a web site to list this inventory, but for the time being I put what I can on ebay and on this site. I currently work full-time for a bank, so please be patient if I am slow in answering any questions. I always do my best to help anyone interested in classic software. Thanks again!
